It took me a while to jump on the Bible Plan bandwagon, I pretty much dismissed the idea of the ‘Bible’ App immediately (not spon lol, can you tell?) but eventually I thought I’d give it a go and I love it!
I thought I would share with you the Bible plans that I am following a the moment – and have definitely fallen behind on! I tend to read these right when I wake up, that way, instead of getting on my phone right away and feeling inadequate from scrolling through my instagram, instead I am lifted up and ready for the day. For plans that are particularly good I’ll take notes of what they said and the verses they used later on, this can be a really fun thing to do, especially if you’re into bullet journalling or arts and crafts, you can make it anything you want it to be!
For those of you who don’t know how Bible Plans work just yet, you simply download the Bible app (not an ad, I wish) which holds all of the translations of the bible you could possibly need, along with this it has a section for your Bible Plans, these are little pieces of text you read everyday (with a reminder set if you want) followed by a bunch of Bible Verses that basically back up or add to the piece of text that came before it. The text can be anything from points the person is making about their topic, questions and even suggested prayers to help you through / work on something!
1. ‘Exploring your Gifts’
I am almost done with this one, again I do need to catch up on a few days! It has been really interesting to read, one thing you must remember is that one person wrote these plans so it is simply from their POV which is why I also just started…
2. ‘Spiritual Gifts | This Changed Everything’
I can’t say much about this one because I didn’t start it long ago but it as proven very helpful and a good added POV to the first one I mentioned
3. 21 Ways to Thrive by 45
This is definitely one of my favourites, I have made many a notes from this, it has so many topics in it and their references are always really good and back up their point really well!
If you believe in the Jesus then I would definitely recommend you try out the Bible app if you haven’t already! Especially if you’re having some trouble with reading your bible regularly, the App has a streak tracker and I know some people who will log into the app and read the verse of the day and end up reading the whole chapter of which that verse is from just because they wanted to keep their streak up! So if you’re competitive… it might work for you!
I have a couple other plans in the works and saved for later use, so let me know if you’d be interested in reading more about them or going into more depth on this!
